actor
Portfolio work for Mai Omar

She initially pursued production, but she didn't feel comfortable there. She then turned to directing, directing a video clip for artist Rola Saad, but she said she also didn't feel comfortable. She felt her love for standing in front of the camera growing day by day, so she decided to discuss her desire to pursue acting with her husband. He asked her to act for him first to ensure she had the talent.

She made extensive preparations for her role in front of the camera. She first studied acting with Marwa Gabriel, accompanied by her husband, who helped her greatly. She then underwent several auditions, which she passed successfully. Her husband, director Mohamed Sami, gave her the opportunity to make her acting debut by playing the role of "Walaa" in the series "Hekayat Hayat" (Life Story) with Ghada Abdel Razek. He was also the series' director. He then nominated her again to work in the series "Kalam Ala Waraq" (Words on Paper) with Haifa Wehbe, which he also directed.

She made her acting debut in a drama series, away from her husband Mohamed Sami, in the TV series "Halet Eshk" (Love State) with director Ibrahim Fakhr, who nominated her for the role. Her first theatrical experience was in the play "Baba Gab Moz" (Baba Gab Moz), directed by Ashraf Zaki, who nominated her for the role and supported her greatly throughout the experience. At first, she felt apprehensive, but she took the plunge after preparing thoroughly.
